8 Days - Kenyan Wildlife & Beach Adventure

Kenya is a vast country with countless natural attractions. There is of course the natural land formations of the great Masai Mara, and the wild animals that roam freely in and around the reserves – countless herds of wildebeests, leopards, lions, cheetahs, hulking elephants, a wide variety of birds, and many other kinds of animals.

A night at Lake Naivasha offers tourists an opportunity to relax before proceeding on with safari. Lots of Flamingo’s and countless bird species

Diani Beach is everything that comes to mind when you think of a tropical paradise – rolling white sands perfect for sunbathing, crystal clear waters perfect for snorkelling, and an abundance of wildlife to discover.

Day 1: Airport or hotel / Masai Mara

Pick up from the airport or hotel in Nairobi early morning as per the flight schedule, start the journey to Masai Mara traversing the spectacular great Rift Valley plains on the way, have some breakfast in a restaurant on the way. Arrive Masai Mara in time for lunch, check in and prepare for the evening game drive. Overnight at Aruba Mara Camp or similar (-/L/D)

Day 2 & 3: Masai Mara Full Day

Full day game viewing drives at the Masai Mara with picnic lunch provided in the park. Game drives from sunrise and sun downer provides greatest moments for game viewing in these mystic plains, a time when the soft red hues of the sun will give your photographs the clarity of the actual African Savannah. Optional visit to Masai Village for a cultural tour can be arranged by the driver guide at a fee. (B/L/D)

Day 4: Masai Mara / Lake Naivasha

After breakfast check out and do a morning drive through the park and arrive at Lake Naivasha, Osotua Luxury Resort in-time for lunch. Relax till the evening. You can decide to do an excursion organized by the hotel reception (at a fee) or just relax and enjoy the tranquility and song from the birds (L/D/B)

Day 5: Lake Naivasha, SGR, Diani

After breakfast drive to Nairobi and arrive at SGR for a scenic drive to Mombasa. Upon arrival in Mombasa you will be picked by my local agent and drive to Coral Beach Resort (Diani) for dinner and overnight (B/-/D)

Day 6

You will be picked in the morning and driven to Shimba Hills National Reserve. In the reserve, you will be able to see the endangered Sable Antelope, Elephants, Giraffes, Leopard, Genet, Civet cat, Hyenas, Waterbuck, Bush pig, Buffalo, African Bush Baby, Bushbuck, Coastal Black and white Colobus, Blue Duiker, Bush Duiker, Red Duiker, Greater Galago,Black-faced Vervet Monkey, Sykes Monkey, Serval cat, Black and Red Shrew among others. You will also visit the Sheldrick Waterfall before proceeding to Simba Hills Lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, drive back to the hotel for relaxation and beach life. (B/L/-)

Day 7

You will be picked in the morning for a full day Wasini / kisite mpunguti national park: One of the finest Marine Parks in Africa, Kisite Mpunguti is an underwater explosion of colors and nearly limitless sea life. It’s a protected sanctuary created by a long pristine coral reef, providing just about the best diving and snorkeling in East Africa. In these warm crystalline waters expect to find a world of dolphins, turtles, and over 360 species of sparkling fish. Adding to the rainbow of fish this brilliant rainforest of the sea hosts nearly one million kinds of marine life – literally every nook. You will be able to do boat rides, visit the marine park and a guided tour. Snorkeling equipment’s will be provided and lunch on the boat (B/L/-)

# Shimoni Slave Caves (Optional) – a fees of 400/= or 5$ per person will be charged

Day 8

After breakfast, transfer to SGR for your safari back to Nairobi (B/-/-)
